Flex is seeking an Operations Manager to lead production planning, staffing, and cross-functional coordination at Guadalajara, North Campus.

In this electronics manufacturing environment you will drive operational excellence, ensure ISO and safety standards, report to the Production Manager, and mentor the operations team while collaborating with other Flex sites.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, electronics engineering, mechatronics or related
• Strong experience in similar position in electronic manufacturing environment
• Solid knowledge of SMT processes, backend
• Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing and 5´s
• PCBA Experience
• Management of production plan and monitoring
• Schedule availability

Responsabilidades

• Manage appropriate staffing and inventory levels.
• Coordinate with other departments and other Flex sites to drive for excellence.
• Coordinate efforts of operations team by establishing procurement, production and engineering services policies and practices.
• Ensure ISO and safety standards are adhered to.
• Report to Senior Management team in weekly operations reviews.
• Coach and mentor Operations team.
• Leverage industry practices and apply to internal systems and processes.

Reporting to the Production Manager, Operations Manager role involves working responsible for effectively managing all strategic operational processes and resources and leading an organization in order to achieve and maintain operational excellence.

What a typical day looks like:

• Manage appropriate staffing and inventory levels.
• Coordinate with other departments and other Flex sites to drive for excellence.
• Coordinate efforts of operations team by establishing procurement, production and engineering services policies and practices.
• Ensure ISO and safety standards are adhered to.
