Flex is hiring a Production Superintendent to lead assembly operations and maintain lean, compliant processes at our facility in Mexico. You will manage staffing and inventory, enforce quality checkpoints, and coordinate with multiple departments to achieve operational excellence.

Ideal candidates bring 5S and Lean Manufacturing experience, SMT/Backend/Box Build exposure, and the ability to supervise cross-functional teams. English is basic but essential and flexible scheduling is required.

Formación

• Completed education required for consideration.
• Experience as a Production Superintendent or similar role.
• Knowledge of 5S methodology and Lean tools.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with SMT, Backend and Box Build processes.
• English at a basic level.
• Experience supervising direct personnel and engineering teams.
• Ability to work flexible schedules.

Responsabilidades

• Manage staffing and inventory levels effectively.
• Oversee assembly operations to meet KOI targets.
• Supervise production staff on methods and quality checks.
• Coordinate with other departments and Flex sites.
• Establish procurement, production and engineering service policies.
• Ensure ISO and safety standards are followed.
• Report to Senior Management in weekly reviews.
• Coach and mentor the Operations team.

General Purpose:

Responsible for effectively managing all strategic operational processes and resources and managing an organization in order to achieve and maintain operational excellence.

Principle Accountabilities:

• Manage appropriate staffing and inventory levels.
• Oversee the assembly operations to meet corporate KOI.
• Supervise production staff on work method and quality checkpoints.
• Coordinate with other departments and other Flex sites to drive for excellence.
• Coordinate efforts of operations team by establishing procurement, production and engineering services policies and practices.
• Ensure ISO and safety standards are adhered to.
• Report to Senior Management team in weekly operations reviews.
• Coach and mentor Operations team.
• Leverage industry practices and apply to internal systems and processes.
• Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.

Experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Completed education.
• Experience as a Production Superintendent.
• Knowledge of 5S methodology.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Knowledge of 4Q (Excel).
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools.
• Experience with SMT, Backend, and Box Build processes.
• Follow-up on Work Order closures.
• English: Basic.
• Experience supervising direct personnel and engineering teams (CFTs).
• Availability to work flexible schedules
