Job summary

Pentair is seeking an Operations Finance Analyst in Mexicali, MX to partner with plant leadership, translating production, labor, and inventory activity into clear financial insights.

You will support monthly close, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting; collaborate with operations and supply chain to drive cost control and business decisions. Strong Excel, ERP (SAP) and BI skills, plus English and Spanish communication, are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of finance experience within manufacturing or operations finance preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance reporting processes.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capabilities; ability to build clear analyses.
• Demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally and communicate financial insights clearly.
• Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and financial reporting tools.
• Familiarity with IMMEX Annex 24/30 or Mexico customs inventory controls.
• Proficiency with BI analytics tools (Power BI) and lean manufacturing concepts a plus.
• Fluent verbal and written communication in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Support close activities with variance analysis, accruals, and reporting.
• Prepare cost, productivity, and margin metrics with key drivers.
• Partner with operations and supply chain to track labor efficiency, material usage, and overhead.
• Assist with plant budgeting and rolling forecasts aligned with production assumptions.
• Develop standard and ad hoc reports for leadership reviews and operating rhythms.
• Analyze inventory turns, Annex 24 balances, and SAP/ERP data reconciliation.
• Support capital spending tracking and post-investment reviews.
• Maintain data accuracy for Annex 24 reporting and related records.
• Coordinate with import/export, customs, and supply chain teams on inventory data.
