Job summary

Pentair is seeking an Operations Finance Analyst for the Mexicali site to support plant leadership with financial analysis, planning, and reporting. The role links production activity with financial results and partners with operations to optimize costs and efficiency, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.

The candidate should have 5+ years in manufacturing finance, be bilingual in English and Spanish, and proficient in Excel, SAP, and Power BI.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of finance experience within manufacturing or operations preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance reporting processes.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally and communicate financial insights clearly.
• Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and financial reporting tools.
• Familiarity with IMMEX Annex 24/30 or Mexico customs inventory controls.
• Proficiency with BI tools (Power BI) and lean manufacturing concepts is a plus.
• Fluent English and Spanish communication.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly close activities with variance analysis and reporting.
• Prepare cost, productivity, and margin metrics and explain drivers.
• Partner with operations to track labor, material usage, scrap, and overhead performance.
• Assist with plant forecasting and budgeting activities (AOP and rolling forecasts).
• Develop standard and ad hoc reports for leadership reviews.
• Analyze inventory performance and reconciliation of Annex 24 data.
