New Era Cap in Mexico City is seeking a Production Coordinator to support end-to-end production, coordinating POs, timelines, product specs, samples, and vendor communication to ensure on-time delivery. You will work closely with vendors, sourcing, logistics, design, and internal teams to track progress, identify delays, and resolve production-related issues.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 2+ years experience in production, sourcing, purchasing, supply chain, or related field.
• Experience with international vendors/suppliers preferred.
• Apparel, accessories, headwear, or consumer products experience a plus.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple POs and priorities simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and excellent communication.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.
• Advanced English required.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and follow up on production orders from PO placement through shipment.
• Maintain accurate tracking of POs, production status, quantities, delivery dates, and ICDs.
• Communicate with vendors on production timelines, capacity, materials, samples, and delivery commitments.
• Follow up on WIP reports and ensure production status aligns with internal planning.
• Monitor production timelines and identify risks to delivery dates.
• Coordinate pre-production samples, top samples, and approvals with vendors and internal teams.
• Follow up on specifications, artwork, labeling, packaging, and other production requirements.
• Ensure vendors have the latest approved specifications and information.
• Coordinate with Logistics for documents, packing lists, shipping information, and pre-bookings.
• Support PO creation, updates, splits, cancellations, and changes.
• Follow up on production quantities to ensure they match POs and demand.
• Escalate delays, quality issues, discrepancies, and other risks to appropriate teams.
• Maintain organized production files, reports, and documentation.
