Job summary

HQ Platinum in Santa Catarina, Nuevo León, Mexico, seeks a Production Planner to plan, coordinate, and monitor the production schedule from work order release to shipment and delivery. This role ensures on-time delivery, material availability, and efficient capacity utilization while coordinating with Purchasing, Production, Engineering, Quality, Warehouse and Shipping teams.

The successful candidate will leverage ERP systems, advanced Excel skills, and robust knowledge of MRP, finite capacity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Production Planning and Production Control in manufacturing.
• Experience using ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis.
• Strong knowledge of MRP, finite capacity planning, inventory management, and forecasting.
• Intermediate to advanced English, with ability to communicate with customers and teams.

Responsibilities

• Create, release, print, and monitor production work orders within the ERP system.
• Track production orders daily and ensure timely and accurate completion in the system.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure availability of materials and components.
• Work with Warehouse to ensure timely material delivery to production.
• Collaborate with Engineering on changes, material updates, and production priorities.
• Monitor critical customer orders and communicate status updates to departments.
• Coordinate with Shipping to ensure on-time order release and delivery.
• Generate reports and KPIs (OTD, backlog, plan compliance, capacity, inventory, overdue orders).
• Participate in cross-functional planning meetings.
• Identify and implement continuous improvements in planning and control processes.
