KIA Mexico is seeking a seasoned Lead General Accounting professional to oversee the full General Accounting function, ensuring IFRS/NIF compliance, tax obligations, internal controls, and support for corporate finance consolidation. This on-site role is based in Pesqueria, Nuevo León.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (CPA preferred) or related.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, Mexican Accounting Standards (NIF), and local tax regulations.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, financial statement analysis, and accounting controls.
• Minimum 2-3 years of people management experience, demonstrating leadership and decision-making capabilities.
• Advanced SAP FI knowledge; SAP S/4HANA experience is highly desirable.
• Advanced English proficiency with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Review financial statements, journal entries, reconciliations, provisions, and variance analyses.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, NIF, SOX requirements, and local tax regulations.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and act as the main contact for corporate finance consolidation and cross-functional departments.
• Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team, making key operational and financial decisions, setting priorities, assigning responsibilities, and ensuring achievement of departmental objectives.
