IFF is seeking a Finance professional in Mexico for a hybrid role focused on financial accuracy, statutory compliance, and cross-border reporting.

You will work with global finance teams on ERP processes (SAP, Central Finance), month-end close, and statutory/tax filings, while ensuring US GAAP and local GAAP adherence. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration and risk management.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 3-4 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, statutory compliance or controllership activities.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, accounting principles, financial reporting and internal controls.
• Experience with SAP and account reconciliations, statutory reporting and audit support.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and English proficiency for global collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and record journal entries in SAP and Central Finance with GL integrity.
• Perform monthly reconciliations and balance sheet reviews for governance and reporting accuracy.
• Support month-, quarter-, and year-end closing activities for timely reporting.
• Coordinate local statutory financial statements and documentation per Argentine requirements.
• Maintain accounting records in line with Argentina tax and accounting rules.
• Assist external and internal audits with reconciliations, schedules and analyses.
• Prepare tax reporting packages and support income tax provisions.
• Collaborate with Treasury, Tax, GBS, and Corporate Finance to resolve issues.
• Ensure SOX controls and GAAP compliance in local and global contexts.
