New Fortress Energy seeks an experienced Rotating Equipment Engineer to support the company’s Fast LNG facility offshore, performing reliability-focused engineering for gas turbines, compressors, pumps, and drives. The role requires living aboard the offshore facility during 21-day cycles and occasional travel to Houston or vendor sites.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Seven years of rotating equipment engineering, maintenance, reliability, or technical support in LNG/oil & gas/industrial environments.

Responsabilidades

• Provide onsite engineering coverage during 21-day offshore rotation.
• Lead/participate in troubleshooting and maintenance planning for rotating equipment.
• Coordinate with onshore and offshore teams to ensure continuity of technical ownership.
• Document equipment condition and handovers with clear follow-up actions.
