Qualifications

• Understanding of ocean documentation process a plus
• Hazardous Materials certification (preferred)
• Understanding of Expeditors systems and procedures
• Fluent in English

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system
• Track and Trace Ocean Import Files
• Use Global Ocean Import Workflow Monitor daily
• Ensure documents are timely sent to customer or broker for customs purposes
• Ensure accurate and timely client and vendors billing
• Interact with customers in arranging international shipments
• Maintain good relationships with suppliers
• Meet compliance with internal and external regulations
• Understand department process flow and seek efficiency improvements
• Keep customer SOPs updated and followed
• Meet KPI standards per company procedures
• Handle overseas communications and timely responses
• Escalate problems to Management when necessary
• Promote compliance with policies and integrity
• Participate in 52 hours of training per year per employee
• Attend and complete mandatory training when required
• Adhere to Expeditors' 10 cultural attributes
