OEC Group is a global freight forwarding company seeking a curious recent graduate for an entry-level logistics role in Mexico. You will support shipment tracking, data entry, and client communications as part of a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities include daily AMS downloads, updating CargoWise records, and maintaining carrier relationships while helping the department meet KPIs and improve efficiency.

• Track, trace, and update shipment status daily.
• Perform an AMS Download daily.
• Enter data accurately into CargoWise.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and offices via email/phone.
• Monitor reports and billing to customers.
• Maintain relationships with carriers and vendors.
• Meet KPIs to support department and company goals.
• Report workflow progress to management.

What you’ll be doing:

• Tracking, tracing, and updating the status of shipments on a daily basis.
• Conducting an AMS Download on a daily basis.
• Accurate and timely data entry into our system (CargoWise).
• Effective communication with customers, vendors, other OEC offices, and co-workers through a high volume of e-mails, phone calls, and verbal contact.
• Monitoring of reports.
• Accurate and timely billing to customers.
• Providing customer service via email and telephone correspondence to address customer questions and concerns.
• Maintaining strong and effective relationships with vendors (shipping lines, trucking companies, etc.).
• Meet key performance indicators to support the department, branch, product, and overall company goals.
• Must have the desire to understand the operational process flow and constantly seek improved ways for efficiency.
• Reporting workflow progress to Management frequently.

Work Schedule

7:00 AM to 4:00 PM/8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST, Mon-Fri.
