Johnson Controls is seeking a Manufacturing Readiness and Launch leader to drive new product introductions. You will lead NPI teams, coordinate with Product Management, Engineering, and Supply Chain, and ensure safe, reliable production at required quality, rate, and cost.

You will shape manufacturing requirements early, manage gates, secure capacity, and implement Lean-based systems to shorten launch cycles and sustain ramp performance across plants and regions.

Formación

• Ability to lead manufacturing readiness and launch events across cross-functional teams.
• Experience applying stage-gate processes to product introductions.
• Strong problem-solving and data-driven decision making.
• Lean or continuous improvement mindset to shorten cycle times.

Responsabilidades

• New Product Manufacturing Plan: define and deliver the manufacturing plan for each new product, ensuring safe, reliable production at required quality, rate, and cost.
• Gate Decisions and Launch Readiness: define manufacturing requirements for each RCLP gate and escalate gaps with recovery plans.
• Supplier and Material Readiness: ensure supplier capability and material availability to support prototypes and launches.
• Plant and Workforce Readiness: ensure plants have processes, equipment, materials, systems, standard work, staffing, and NPI training prior to launch.
• Launch and Ramp Performance: deliver first production, ramp, and stable operating performance against safety, quality, delivery, cost, and capacity targets.
• Business System Leadership: establish a repeatable NPI operating system with visual management and root-cause countermeasures.
