Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a leader to own manufacturing readiness and launch outcomes for new products in a fast-moving domain.

You will guide cross-functional teams across Product Management, Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, Quality, and plants to ensure safe, reliable production at target quality and cost. This role emphasizes gate decisions, ramp performance, supplier and workforce readiness, and the establishment of a repeatable NPI operating system.

Formación

• Ownership of manufacturing readiness and launch outcomes for multiple new products or complex programs.
• Deep knowledge of manufacturing planning, process capability, equipment, capacity, cost, and ramp.
• Experience making evidence-based readiness decisions within stage-gate/product development processes.
• Ability to align Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Supply Chain, and plant teams without direct authority.
• Experience identifying supplier/material/capacity risks that could block launches or ramps.
• Demonstrated use of Lean or equivalent systems to improve execution and sustain results across programs.

Responsabilidades

• Define and deliver the manufacturing plan for each new product, ensuring safe, reliable production at required quality, rate, and cost.
• Define manufacturing requirements for each gate and assess gaps with approved recovery plans.
• Ensure supplier capability and material availability support prototype, validation, and ramp requirements.
• Confirm plant readiness, standard work, staffing, and training before launch.
• Deliver first production, ramp, and stable performance against safety, quality, delivery, cost, and capacity targets.
• Build a repeatable NPI operating system connecting strategy to execution with visual management and problem solving.
• Develop extended teams through coaching, role clarity, and performance leadership across the NPI program.
