Job summary
Commercial Vehicle Group, Inc. (CVG) seeks an Applications Engineering & NPI Manager to lead the technical development and industrialization of low-voltage wire harness systems for the Zoox program.
This role serves as the primary technical interface between Zoox engineering and internal manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and program management teams. The ideal candidate brings extensive automotive or aerospace harness experience, strong DFMA/ PFMEA knowledge, and a proven track record in
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Aerospace, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years in automotive or aerospace harness development, application engineering, or manufacturing.
- 3+ years in technical leadership or engineering management.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary technical interface with Zoox for low-voltage wire harness applications.
- Lead technical discussions on harness designs, specs, and manufacturability.
- Manage ECRs/ECOs, revisions, BOM updates, and manufacturing documentation.
- Establish robust change management processes and production readiness plans.
- Lead NPI activities from prototype through ramp-up and serial production.
- Collaborate with quality, supply chain, and operations to ensure cost, schedule, and quality goals.
