Job summary

Daikin Manufacturing México is seeking an NPD Mechanical Engineer to drive end-to-end development of HVAC solutions, translating market needs into innovative thermal-fluid systems. You will concept, integrate, and validate package and split systems, ensuring a sustainable competitive edge through optimized refrigeration cycles and heat transfer.

The role requires 3+ years in NPD Mechanical (HVAC preferred), a CREO background, English proficiency, and strong technical drawing interpretation.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years experience as NPD Mechanical, preferably HVAC.
Degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Mechatronics Engineering.
Proficiency with CREO for 3D modeling and drawings; English proficiency; MS Office.

Responsibilities

Generate 3D models, drawings, BOMs for new and existing designs.
Translate requirements into mechanical architectures for HVAC packages.
Apply thermodynamics and fluid dynamics to optimize refrigerant circuits and heat transfer.
Use CFD tools to predict system behavior under diverse conditions.
Ensure designs meet AHRI/ASHRAE/DOE standards.
Support sustaining engineering to improve reliability and manufacturability.
Contribute to cost reduction via value engineering.
Develop performance calculations and system interactions.
Support packaging and indoor air quality system design.
