Johnson Controls in Mexico is seeking a Product Engineer to perform mechanical and electrical engineering analysis, design and development of special requirements, and selection of chillers components and systems. You will support production, lab, service, applications, and marketing teams globally, leading multiple projects when possible.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, mechanical, or related field).
• Minimum 5 year of product development experience.
• SAP operational knowledge.
• Able to speak to technical and non-technical audiences, as well as absorb and use technical documentation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, schedule driven, team-oriented environment.
• Travel domestically and internationally required (up to 10% of time).

Responsabilidades

• Investigates and analyzes product design proposals and able to conceptualize and implement design ideas into the product.
• Proficient at preparing, checking, and coordinating the release of documentation to support designs.
• Responsible for technical direction to application engineers, designers, factory operations, product marketing, and product technical service.
• Responsible for the accurate completion of projects.
• Proficient at selecting the most suitable electrical and mechanical components.
• Uses standard and sophisticated technical and mathematical principles, theories, concepts, techniques, processes, and standard methodologies in field.
• Responsible for engineering drawings including electrical schematics, bill of materials.
• Experience with mechanical systems and material resource planning (MRP) software also a plus.
• Adheres to the Company’s Code of Conduct and Business Ethics standards.
• Implementing prevention risks tools such as DFMEA.
• Creates specifications, requirements, and criteria for concepts, performance, and production
• Designs and develops devices in accordance with the various phases of a program schedule.
• Develops, maintains, and releases engineering drawings, system designs, or engineering documentation.
• Provides manufacturing support ensuring products are built according to customer requirements and product specifications.
• Performs failure analysis and corrective actions when necessary
