Job summary

Vistance Networks in Apodaca, NL is seeking a Network Technical Support Engineer to join our customer-facing team. You will troubleshoot networking and telecom solutions, investigate issues, and provide clear solutions to clients.

The ideal candidate has about 2 years in technical support or NOC, strong TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, and basic Linux, plus solid English and communication skills. A related Bachelor’s degree is preferred and experience with Cisco/Juniper is a plus.

Qualifications

Around 2 years of experience in Technical Support, Networking, NOC, Telecommunications, or related environment.
Good networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, subnetting, DHCP and DNS.
Basic Linux knowledge.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Professional working English.
Good communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Dell, HP, Alcatel or similar technologies is a plus.
Basic exposure to Python, Bash, PowerShell, automation, Docker or virtual environments welcome, but not required.
