TekniPlex seeks an experienced MRO Supervisor to join our Purchasing & Planning team. You will plan and coordinate procurement of MRO materials, spare parts, tools, and services to ensure uninterrupted operations.

You will manage inventory, negotiate with local and international suppliers, and support continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Formación

• Education: Bachelor-level degree in a related field (Industrial/Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration)
• 5 years of experience in MRO, maintenance, or procurement environments
• Experience negotiating with local and international suppliers
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations through inventory planning and procurement strategies
• Strong knowledge of MRO inventory management and material planning
• Experience using ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Supplier sourcing, qualification, and negotiation capabilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Effective cross-functional collaboration with teams
• Continuous improvement mindset and cost-reduction focus
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced plant setting

Responsabilidades

• Plan and coordinate procurement of MRO materials, spare parts, tools, fuels, and services
• Manage MRO inventory levels, min/max, rotation and obsolescence
• Oversee chemicals documentation and expiration controls
• Generate and follow up on purchase orders for on-time delivery
• Collaborate with Maintenance to anticipate spare parts and shutdowns
• Negotiate pricing and delivery with suppliers
• Develop and qualify strategic MRO suppliers
• Implement controls to prevent shortages and emergency purchases
• Analyze usage trends to improve planning and inventory
• Support maintenance service contracts and compliance with policies
• Lead cost reduction and continuous improvement within MRO
