Oferta confidencial is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage MRO purchases and drive cost reductions across consumables, tools, and non-inventory items. You will collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure delivery meets quality and specification requirements.

The role requires strong negotiation, project management, and process improvement skills, with a focus on lean principles and efficient procurement execution. On-site position in Mexico.

Formación

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts, such as Kanban inventory management techniques, is a plus, preferred.
• Knowledge of Min-Max Process
• Understanding of MRP
• >70% English preferred

Responsabilidades

• Executes best practice supply chain solutions towards consistent process improvement in an effort to expose and eliminate root causes of problems.
• Develops and implements cost reduction projects and improvement initiatives on all non-inventory items and consumables to achieve overall business objectives.
• Places requisitions, purchase orders, and purchase order releases within budgetary limitations and scope of authority.
• Coordinates with suppliers the disposition of nonconforming or rejected material and prepares debit memos on a timely basis.
• Improves purchasing functions to ensure reliable, cost-efficient delivery of the non-inventory items and all consumables.

This position executes the purchases for assigned MRO items such as consumables, machinery, precision tools, test equipment, etc., ensuring the meeting of quality, delivery, and specification requirements at the lowest possible total cost. Analyzes data and prepares reports as needed tofacilitateand recommend actions to ensureoptimaldelivery of supplier materials. The position is also responsible for working with suppliers, customers, and other departments to resolve all MRO procurement-related issues, utilizing interpersonal skills and professional standards to develop relationships with suppliers that allow the company to carry out its mission of delivering a world-class and cost-effective product to its customers.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university
• A minimum of 3 years of recent related experience and/or training; electronic or cable assembly industries preferred.
