TekniPlex is seeking an MRO Supervisor to ensure availability of maintenance materials, spare parts, tools, and services for continuous plant operations. You will optimize inventory, negotiate with suppliers, and lead cost-reduction initiatives while complying with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating procurement, managing obsolescence, and supporting maintenance planning. Advanced Excel skills and SAP experience are required.

Formación

  • Experience in MRO/materials planning and procurement in manufacturing.
  • Experience negotiating with local and international suppliers.
  • Ability to plan inventory and support maintenance operations.

Responsabilidades

  • Plan and coordinate procurement of MRO materials, spare parts, tools, and services.
  • Manage MRO inventory levels, min/max stock, and obsolescence.
  • Prepare and follow up purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance to forecast spare part needs and shutdowns.
  • Negotiate pricing and delivery schedules with suppliers; qualify strategic MRO partners.
  • Implement controls to prevent shortages and emergency purchases.
  • Analyze historical consumption to improve material planning and inventory optimization.

Required Profile
General Job Description

The MRO Supervisor is responsible for planning, coordinating, and ensuring the availability of MRO materials, industrial spare parts, maintenance services, tools, and indirect supplies necessary to support continuous plant operations. This role partners closely with Maintenance, Operations, and strategic suppliers to optimise inventory, improve procurement efficiency, negotiate favourable commercial agreements, and lead continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Experience
  • 3–5 years of experience in MRO, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related manufacturing environments.
  • Experience managing industrial spare parts, maintenance materials, tools, and fuels.
  • Proven experience negotiating with local and international suppliers.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing operations through effective inventory planning and procurement strategies.
Knowledge, Training and Specific Skills
  • Strong knowledge of MRO inventory management and material planning.
  • Logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Experience using ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel.
  • Supplier sourcing, qualification, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Effective communication and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Continuous improvement and cost reduction mindset.
  • Ability to prioritise multiple projects in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate the procurement of MRO materials, spare parts, tools, fuels, and maintenance services.
  • Manage MRO inventory levels, including minimum/maximum stock levels, inventory rotation, and obsolescence.
  • Manage documentation and expiration control for chemicals.
  • Generate and follow up on purchase orders to ensure on‑time delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance department to anticipate spare part requirements and scheduled shutdowns.
  • Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial agreements with local and international suppliers.
  • Develop and qualify strategic MRO suppliers.
  • Implement controls to prevent critical shortages and emergency purchases.
  • Analyse historical consumption trends to improve material planning and inventory optimisation.
  • Support the management of preventive and corrective maintenance service contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, audits, and safety standards.
  • Lead cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives within the MRO category.
  • Provide support to internal departments with required MRO documentation.
Languages
  • Advanced English (required for supplier sourcing, negotiations, and communication with international suppliers).
