Job summary

Fuller Technologies in Monterrey is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead day-to-day procurement activities for projects, coordinate suppliers, and drive cost, quality, and schedule adherence. You will coach the procurement team and collaborate with Sales, Project Execution, Logistics, Quality, and Engineering to ensure project success.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a related field and 3+ years in procurement, with ERP/Office tools proficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain.
• Strong communication, organization, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day purchasing activities for assigned projects and business requirements, ensuring orders are placed accurately and on time.
• Supervise, support, and develop procurement employees while coordinating team workload and priorities.
• Review purchasing requirements, obtain supplier quotations, and support supplier selection and purchasing decisions.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and delivery requirements with suppliers.
• Manage supplier relationships and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, pricing, and performance.
• Monitor purchase orders, supplier acknowledgements, order status, expediting, and deliveries to support project schedules.
• Provide oversight of import/export logistics and trade compliance activities, ensuring procurement decisions align with applicable requirements and minimize business risk.
• Partner with Sales, Project Execution, Logistics, Quality, Engineering, and other functions to resolve procurement issues.
• Support proposal and project execution activities by obtaining supplier pricing and lead times.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve supplier performance, and streamline procurement processes.
• Monitor procurement activities and KPIs while supporting regional and global procurement initiatives.
