Job summary

Fuller Technologies, Monterrey, Mexico, is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead day-to-day purchasing for projects, coordinate suppliers, and optimize cost, quality, and schedule. The role guides a procurement team, aligns with cross-functional partners, and drives global procurement initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in procurement, strong negotiation skills, and experience with ERP systems and import/export compliance.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain.
  • Experience with purchasing, supplier coordination, and commercial negotiations.
  • Experience working with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
  • Working knowledge of import/export logistics and trade compliance requirements.
  • Strong communication, organization, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day purchasing activities for assigned projects and business requirements, ensuring orders are placed accurately and on time.
  • Supervise, support, and develop procurement employees while coordinating team workload and priorities.
  • Review purchasing requirements, obtain supplier quotations, and support supplier selection and purchasing decisions.
  • Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and delivery requirements with suppliers.
  • Manage supplier relationships and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, pricing, and performance.
  • Monitor purchase orders, supplier acknowledgements, order status, expediting, and deliveries to support project schedules.
  • Provide oversight of import/export logistics and trade compliance activities, ensuring procurement decisions align with applicable requirements and minimize business risk.
  • Partner with Sales, Project Execution, Logistics, Quality, Engineering, and other functions to resolve procurement issues.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve supplier performance, and streamline procurement processes.
  • Monitor procurement activities and KPIs while supporting regional and global procurement initiatives.
