FLSmidth is seeking a Purchasing Specialist in Monterrey to source, negotiate, and procure goods and services for global operations. You will ensure cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery while collaborating with engineering, production, and logistics teams.

The role requires 2-4 years in purchasing, strong negotiation and analytical skills, English fluency, and proficiency with ERP systems like SAP/Oracle.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Proven negotiation skills and experience in supplier relationship management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
• Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
• Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery timelines.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve favorable agreements.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, or invoicing.
• Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., engineering, production, logistics) to understand their procurement needs and ensure seamless supply chain operations.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, including supplier information, order details, and contract agreements.
• Conduct market research to identify new products, suppliers, and industry trends.
• Participate in cost reduction initiatives and process improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with FLSmidth & Co. AS's ethical sourcing guidelines and sustainability policies.
