Job summary

Fuller Technologies in Monterrey seeks a Procurement Manager to lead day-to-day purchasing, supplier coordination, and expediting for projects, ensuring cost, quality, and schedule targets are met. You will guide the procurement team and drive cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Engineering, Logistics, and Quality.

You will negotiate with suppliers, manage relationships, and oversee import/export logistics while promoting compliant business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• 3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain.
• Experience with purchasing, supplier coordination, and commercial negotiations.
• Experience working with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with import/export logistics and trade compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day purchasing activities for assigned projects and business requirements, ensuring orders are placed accurately and on time.
• Supervise, support, and develop procurement employees while coordinating team workload and priorities.
• Review purchasing requirements, obtain supplier quotations, and support supplier selection and purchasing decisions.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and delivery requirements with suppliers.
• Manage supplier relationships and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, pricing, and performance.
• Monitor purchase orders, supplier acknowledgements, order status, expediting, and deliveries to support project schedules.
• Provide oversight of import/export logistics and trade compliance activities, ensuring procurement decisions align with applicable requirements and minimize business risk.
• Partner with Sales, Project Execution, Logistics, Quality, Engineering, and other functions to resolve procurement issues.
• Support proposal and project execution activities by obtaining supplier pricing and lead times.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve supplier performance, and streamline procurement processes.
• Monitor procurement activities and KPIs while supporting regional and global procurement initiatives.
