Job summary

Ford México is seeking a Software Validation Engineer to build and execute automated tests for native features on the Ford mobile app, focusing on native commerce. You will collaborate with a Lead Software Validation Engineer and a small QA team supporting Android and iOS.

You will design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using XCTest/XCUIAutomation for iOS and Jetpack Compose Test API plus Espresso for Android, run tests in CI/CD, and report results clearly with JIRA.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of software QA/testing experience, with mobile app exposure.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in mobile test automation and ability to ramp up with mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute automated tests for native mobile features.
• Design and maintain automated test cases for iOS and Android.
• Execute manual and automated tests across development and staging environments.
• Log, track, and help manage defects in JIRA.
• Contribute test automation code to shared repositories.
• Run automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines.
