Job summary

Zoolatech in Mexico is seeking an experienced iOS QA Automation Engineer to join a world-class team. You will design, implement, and maintain automated test suites in Swift using XCTest and XCUITest, ensuring robust validation for iOS apps.

Collaborate with iOS engineers, build CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to AI-assisted testing approaches to accelerate test generation and coverage while maintaining quality across iOS builds.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial QA Automation or SDET experience focused on iOS testing.
• Proficiency in Swift and Xcode with debugging skills.
• Hands-on experience with XCUITest, unit testing, and UI automation.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated tests.
• Strong Git/GitHub experience; familiar with Gitflow and trunk-based development.
• Knowledge of SOLID principles applied to test framework design.
• Willingness to adopt AI-driven testing practices for test generation and automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test cases and frameworks in Swift using XCTest and XCUITest.
• Own the quality lifecycle: identify issues, file bugs, and drive them to resolution.
• Collaborate with iOS engineers to ensure testable, automation-friendly code.
• Build and maintain in-house tools for test parallelization, network mocking, and reporting.
• Perform peer code reviews to ensure robust test coverage and reliable CI pipelines.
• Drive improvements to the CI/CD ecosystem for scalability and speed.
• Explore AI-assisted testing approaches to enhance test generation and automation.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies.
