Capgemini Engineering seeks a Sr AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable AI and Generative AI solutions for complex business challenges. The ideal candidate blends ML, LLM, cloud-native AI platforms, and modern software practices to deliver production-ready intelligent applications.

You will design end-to-end AI systems, contribute to architecture discussions, and deploy strategies while building scalable APIs and microservices to integrate AI into enterprise apps.

Qualificações

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 4+ years in total, 1+ year in AI.
• Strong Python, APIs, and microservices development.
• Experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services and prompt engineering.
• Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD deployments hands-on.
• Familiar with vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate).
• Advanced English communication.

YOUR ROLE:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Sr AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable AI and Generative AI solutions that address complex business challenges and drive measurable business value. The ideal candidate combines expertise in machine learning, large language models (LLMs), cloud-native AI platforms, and modern software engineering practices to deliver production-ready intelligent applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, development, deployment, and maintainance of end-to-end AI and Generative AI solutions that address business challenges and drive measurable outcomes.
• Contribute to solution design, architecture discussions, and deployment strategies across AI initiatives.
• Build and optimize machine learning models, Large Language Model (LLM) applications, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
• Develop scalable APIs, microservices, and backend services to integrate AI capabilities into enterprise applications.
• Continuously evaluate emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and industry trends to drive innovation and improve development practices.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent
• 4+ years of overall experience in and 1+ years of experience in AI
• Strong experiencein Python, APIs, microservices and SW development best practices.
• Working experience using Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, & Prompt Engineering, RAG & Retrieval, Function & Tool Calling, LLMs, AI agents and workflow orchestration
• Knowledge of Architecture & Design, Data Governance & Security, Observability & Evaluation, FinOps (cost optimization), Responsible AI
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines for deployments.
• Experience leveraging AI services such as Vertex AI, Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, or equivalent platforms.
• Familiarity with vector databases such as Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate, or similar technologies
• Advanced English Communication.
