Airwallex is seeking an INFOSEC Governance, Risk and Compliance Regional Specialist for Mexico City, or to collaborate across global teams with Mexico as the regional anchor. The role focuses on designing and implementing policies that balance regional requirements with global standards, while leveraging hands-on security skills.

The candidate should have 5-7 years in cybersecurity, with fintech exposure and strong knowledge of PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, SOC2.

Formación

5-7 years of cybersecurity experience.
Must hold a Mexican Tax ID (RFC) or dual Mexican citizenship.
Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
Prior fintech industry experience highly valued.
Knowledge of PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, SOC2 and related security standards.
Understanding of information security concepts and cloud environments.

Responsabilidades

Act as the regional anchor for Mexico City, coordinating with global InfoSec team.
Serve as a contact for Mexican regulatory bodies, customers, partners and vendors.
Manage implementation and monitoring of security controls and reporting.
Leverage AI and automation to streamline compliance and security tasks.
Develop and maintain security documentation, standards and dashboards.
Provide subject matter expertise on security compliance for the Mexico region.
Perform hands-on security tasks as needed within the region.
Drive initiatives independently using project management experience.
