Job summary

inDrive is seeking a Country Government Relations Manager for Mexico with extensive experience in regulatory issues and building sustainable relationships with regulators and policy leaders. The role focuses on advancing inDrive’s interests with national and state authorities and industry stakeholders.

You will lead licensing efforts across regions, craft a national GR strategy, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate regulatory risks while enhancing the company’s visibility

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in government relations or public policy.
• Experience in a tier-one multinational organization preferred (in-house or as consultant).
• Degree in Law, Economics, Political Science, International Affairs or related field.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Spanish; ability to engage diverse partners.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with government officials and policymakers in Mexico.
• Oversee licensing at the state level and manage the full licensing process for multiple verticals.
• Develop and implement a national GR strategy with OKRs and roadmaps.
• Lead partnerships with policy stakeholders, associations, and civil society groups.
• Represent inDrive to NGOs, industry unions and associations; monitor regulatory risks and opportunities.
• Coordinate with Growth, Legal, Communications, Finance and Product to ensure regulatory compliance.
