DiDi Global Inc. is seeking a Government Affairs Manager based in Monterrey to drive engagement with state-level governments and stakeholders, ensuring DiDi’s operations are well-positioned in Mexico’s North region.

You will shape high-level strategies, monitor regulatory developments, and coordinate cross-functional teams to advocate mobility solutions. The role requires 6+ years in public affairs, deep knowledge of the Mexican political system, and bilingual fluency in Spanish and English.

Formación

• 6+ years of experience in public affairs in government, consultancy services or the private sector.
• In-depth knowledge of the Mexican political system, with focus on Northern States' regional politics and business environment.
• Passion for technology and improving mobility in Mexico.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law/Political Science/International Relations/Economics.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Strong experience engaging high-level policy, business, and international stakeholders.
• Fluency in Spanish and English is essential.
• Independent thinking and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Teamwork attitude.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsabilidades

• Based in Monterrey, contribute to the consolidation of DiDi’s presence in the North region for ridehailing and food delivery.
• Develop DiDi's Government Affairs high-level engagement strategy with key stakeholders.
• Liaise with government and decision-makers for innovative transportation solutions.
• Monitor, analyze and prevent regulatory risks in Mexico to advocate best practices.
• Contribute to Government Affairs strategy with stakeholder mappings and advocacy plans.
• Coordinate State-level special projects and engage with key stakeholders.
• Liaise with business chambers to boost DiDi’s presence and networks.
• Be able to work under pressure with changing agendas and deadlines.
