Flex is seeking a Planning Intern (Metalworking) to support day-to-day production and demand planning in a metalworking environment. You will help ensure data integrity, maintain reports, and collaborate with Production, Purchasing, and Logistics in Guadalajara, North Campus.

You’ll gain exposure to end-to-end planning processes, ERP tools like Kinaxis and Baan, and dashboard creation using Tableau. The role emphasizes proactive teamwork and continuous improvement.

Formación

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Intermediate Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables).
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Interest in supply chain, production planning, and data analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Support the creation, update, and maintenance of production and/or demand plans.
• Track plan compliance (plan vs. actual) and support follow-up activities.
• Maintain and update planning reports using Excel and internal systems (Kinaxis, Baan).
• Analyze data to identify risks or improvement opportunities related to capacity, demand, and inventory.
• Support load balancing and capacity validation (headcount, machinery).
• Assist in the generation and maintenance of dashboards and KPIs (Tableau).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Production, Purchasing, and Logistics.
• Support process documentation and operational improvements.
