Flex is seeking a Planning Intern (Metalworking) to support day-to-day production and demand planning in a metalworking environment. You will help ensure data integrity, maintain reports, and collaborate with Production, Purchasing, and Logistics in Guadalajara, North Campus.

You’ll gain exposure to end-to-end planning processes, ERP tools like Kinaxis and Baan, and dashboard creation using Tableau. The role emphasizes proactive teamwork and continuous improvement.

Formación

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Intermediate Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables).
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Interest in supply chain, production planning, and data analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Support the creation, update, and maintenance of production and/or demand plans.
• Track plan compliance (plan vs. actual) and support follow-up activities.
• Maintain and update planning reports using Excel and internal systems (Kinaxis, Baan).
• Analyze data to identify risks or improvement opportunities related to capacity, demand, and inventory.
• Support load balancing and capacity validation (headcount, machinery).
• Assist in the generation and maintenance of dashboards and KPIs (Tableau).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Production, Purchasing, and Logistics.
• Support process documentation and operational improvements.

Job Summary

Support the Planning team in the day‑to‑day execution and analysis of production and/or demand planning activities within a metal‑mechanical manufacturing environment. This role will help ensure accurate planning, data integrity, and operational support by maintaining reports, analyzing indicators, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams. The Planning Intern (Metalworking) will be based in Guadalajara, North Campus.
