General Motors in Mexico seeks a Material Group Leader to drive production efficiency. You will lead hourly teams, train and develop staff, and ensure lean manufacturing principles are applied to meet schedules and quality targets.

You will promote safety, manage union relations per agreements, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to reduce variation and costs while improving productivity. A Bachelor's in engineering or related field is required.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year of experience in leadership roles.
• Experience managing and leading personnel.
• Availability to work a 4x3 schedule with rotating shifts.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Promotes GM safety culture.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and train hourly team members, optimizing use of personnel, material, and equipment.
• Support launch and pilot activities and lean/synchronous manufacturing principles.
• Develop and maintain high-performing teams and effective cross-functional collaboration.
• Ensure quality requirements and address non-conformities.
• Maintain safety, ergonomics, and housekeeping goals.
• Manage relations with union and management per agreements.
