Johnson Controls in Monterrey, Mexico, is seeking a Material Flow Engineer to design, implement, and optimize material flow strategies across production lines. You will ensure timely material delivery, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement to reduce waste and boost productivity.

The role requires 2–4 years of experience in material flow or logistics engineering, knowledge of Kanban and PFEP/ABC/XYZ analysis, and proficiency with SAP/ERP systems and Excel.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, supply chain, logistics, or related field.
• 2–4 years of material flow, logistics engineering, or manufacturing support experience.
• Knowledge of material flow processes and PFEP/ABC-XYZ analysis required.
• Experience with tugger routes, Kanban, and kitting implementation.
• Familiarity with lean tools and methodologies and calculating headcount needs.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred) and intermediate Excel skills.
• Intermediate English proficiency in writing and speaking is required.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and propose improvements.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement material flow processes to support production requirements.
• Design layouts and logistics strategies for efficient material handling.
• Define and maintain Kanban systems, picklists, and replenishment methods.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, planning, and warehouse teams to align material flow with production schedules.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on material delivery and inventory accuracy.
• Support implementation of lean manufacturing and ABC/XYZ analysis for material classification.
• Monitor KPIs related to material availability, line stoppages, and logistics efficiency.
