Johnson Controls in Mexico is seeking a Material Flow Engineer to design, implement and optimize material flow strategies across production lines. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes, reduce waste, and increase productivity, ensuring materials arrive on time and in full for manufacturing operations.

The role requires a strong background in industrial engineering or related fields, plus hands-on experience with Kanban, PFEP/ABC analyses, ERP/MRP systems, and lean

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in material flow, logistics engineering, or manufacturing support.
• Knowledge of material flow processes.
• Experience in PFEP & ABC/XYZ analysis.
• Knowledge of tugger route implementation.
• Knowledge in Kanban and Kitting process implementation.
• Familiarity with lean tools and methodologies.
• Ability to calculate headcount requirements.
• Experience with software design and intermediate Excel skills.
• Intermediate English proficiency (written and spoken).
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred).
• Analytical skills with ability to interpret data and propose improvements.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement material flow processes to support production requirements.
• Design layouts and logistics strategies for efficient material handling.
• Define and maintain Kanban systems, picklists, and replenishment methods.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, planning, and warehouse teams to align material flow with production schedules.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on material delivery and inventory accuracy.
• Support implementation of lean manufacturing and ABC/XYZ analysis for material classification.
• Monitor KPIs related to material availability, line stoppages, and logistics efficiency.
