Johnson Controls in Apodaca, Mexico is seeking a Material Flow Engineer to design, implement, and optimize material flow across production lines. You will ensure materials arrive on time and integrate with ERP/MRP processes.

The role collaborates with manufacturing, planning, and warehouse teams, leads continuous improvement, and applies lean methods, Kanban, PFEP/ABC/XYZ analyses, and line-side replenishment strategies.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, supply chain, logistics, or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in material flow, logistics engineering, or manufacturing support.
• Knowledge of material flow processes and PFEP/ABC/XYZ analysis.
• Experience with Kanban, Kitting, and tugger route implementation.
• Familiarity with lean tools and methodologies.
• Analytical skills to interpret data and propose improvements.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred).
• Intermediate English proficiency (written and spoken).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement material flow processes to support production requirements.
• Design layouts and logistics strategies for efficient material handling.
• Define and maintain Kanban systems, picklists, and replenishment methods.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, planning, and warehouse teams to align material flow with production schedules.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on material delivery and inventory accuracy.
• Support implementation of lean manufacturing and ABC/XYZ analysis for material classification.
• Monitor KPIs related to material availability, line stoppages, and logistics efficiency.
