Job summary

Ariston México is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead manufacturing operations, reporting to the Operations Director. You will oversee people, materials, equipment, machinery, and facilities to meet daily production targets while upholding safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.

The ideal candidate holds a Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics degree with 5+ years in production leadership, preferably in metalworking.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a Production Manager/Manufacturing Manager/Production Leadership role, preferably in metalworking or metal-mechanical manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes including cutting, stamping, welding, painting, and assembly.
• Experience with World Class Manufacturing (WCM) methodologies, particularly Workplace Organization (WO) and Autonomous Maintenance (AM).
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; able to develop production teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily production targets are achieved in terms of volume, product mix, quality, and schedule.
• Effectively manage resources including people, materials, equipment, machinery, and facilities.
• Monitor and maintain critical process parameters to ensure products meet quality and customer expectations.
• Lead, coach, and develop the production team, promoting engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Drive safety initiatives and ensure compliance with Safety Operating System and safety standards.
• Identify and proactively address operational and workplace risks to maintain a safe working environment.
• Promote teamwork and collaboration across departments to support overall plant performance.
