Job summary

Flex seeks an Operations Manager for Guadalajara, North Campus, to oversee manufacturing operations, drive volume, quality and cost goals, and coordinate across Flex sites. The role reports to the Sr. Operation Manager and requires coordinating staffing, materials, and process improvements.

You will coach production staff, apply Lean methodologies, and ensure ISO and safety standards. This position supports SpinCo initiatives and cross-functional collaboration with procurement and engineering

Qualifications

• Completed education.
• Experience as a Production Superintendent.
• Knowledge of 5S methodology.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of 4Q (Excel).
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools.
• Experience with SMT, Backend, and Box Build processes.
• Follow-up on Work Order closures.
• English: intermediate.
• Experience supervising direct personnel and engineering teams (CFTs).
• Availability to work flexible schedules.

Responsibilities

• Manage appropriate staffing and inventory levels.
• Oversee the assembly operations to meet corporate KOI.
• Supervise production staff on work method and quality checkpoints.
• Coordinate with other departments and other Flex sites to drive for excellence.
• Coordinate efforts of operations team by establishing procurement, production and engineering services policies and practices.
• Ensure ISO and safety standards are adhered to.
• Report to Senior Management team in weekly operations reviews.
• Coach and mentor Operations team.
• Leverage industry practices and apply to internal systems and processes.
• Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.
• Provide support to supply chain to integrate parts derived from the vertical integration or localization effort
• Provide product training to the manufacturing/process engineers for better understanding of the product.
