Flex is seeking an Associate Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing operations at the Guadalajara, North Campus site. You will report to the Production Manager and oversee a shift of lines to hit volume, quality and cost targets.

The role requires supervising teams of 20–25 people, driving WIP control, WO tracking, and ensuring adherence to Lean and 5S practices. Strong problem-solving and MS Office skills are essential as you coach operators daily.

Formación

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience.
• Basic English preferred.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule.
• Previous experience as a Production Supervisor.
• Experience performing and overseeing basic and critical repair operations.
• Experience working with SRT Saw machines.
• Proven ability to manage and lead teams of 20–25 employees.
• Control and management of Work-in-Process (WIP).
• Follow-up and tracking of Work Orders (WO).
• Monitoring and traceability of serial numbers.
• Experience with hour-by-hour production tracking and reporting.
• Ensure achievement of: production goals, quality standards & on-time delivery commitments
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Experience implementing and maintaining 5S practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsabilidades

• Direct manufacturing operations for a shift or group of lines to meet volume, quality and cost goals.
• Evaluate daily/regular plant operating performance and advise on changes in operating conditions that will improve efficiencies and quality.
• Guide a team of professionals (e.g. engineers/officers) to meet quality, cost, delivery and acknowledge requirements.
• Troubleshoot and explore operational problems and advise on their resolution. Guide regular discussions with operators to coach performance and improve operational comprehension and capability.
• Solicits and evaluates ideas for plant improvements and contribute with qualified engineers to develop project proposals.
• Provides technical and operational advice to project teams.
• May act as principal interface between the operation team and the maintenance function.
• Engage in training and coaching of junior operators.
• Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply in order to meet customer requirements.
• Initiate and participate in process development and cost improvement projects.
• Assist in department budget planning and management of department expenses.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing team members on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
