Corning Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Lead in Reynosa to drive operational execution, readiness, and continuous improvement across the plant.

You will translate business priorities into shop-floor actions, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure successful launches and ramp-ups of manufacturing processes. This role strengthens safety, quality, delivery, productivity, capacity, and cost performance, while fostering a culture of discipline and problem-solving.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing or Operations Management is required.
• Professional experience in manufacturing operations and leadership is required.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and capacity evaluations is essential.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and continuous improvement methods.
• Proficiency in using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for reporting and analysis.
• Ability to translate business priorities into actionable shop-floor plans.

Responsabilidades

• Lead deployment of manufacturing strategies, transitions, ramp-ups, and readiness activities.
• Translate priorities into execution roadmaps with milestones and owners.
• Ensure shop-floor readiness including labor, equipment, tooling, and training.
• Conduct capacity analysis to identify bottlenecks and coverage gaps.
• Drive Lean initiatives to eliminate waste and improve productivity.
• Monitor metrics such as throughput, yield, density, and schedule adherence.
• Lead multiple projects with clear scope, schedules, and risk management.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Finance teams.
• Lead qualification and launch-support activities for new lines and processes.
• Promote safety, standard work, 5S, and continuous improvement culture.
