Job summary

Grupo Pesado Castro seeks an IT Manager to lead strategy and operations for four Mexican plants. You will ensure availability, security, and efficiency of the IT backbone while aligning digital initiatives with business goals.

Ideal candidates bring 8–10 years in IT leadership, strong English/Spanish communication, and experience in automotive environments. The role oversees a 30-person team and regional IT governance across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field (Master is a plus).
• 8–10 years of IT leadership, manager or similar experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Spanish.
• Automotive industry experience.
• Multi-site experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, operation, and continuous improvement of IT across four Mexican plants.
• Ensure high availability, security, and efficiency of IT infrastructure.
• Oversee a multidisciplinary team of 30 professionals across locations.
• Align digital solutions with business objectives and governance.
• Manage IT budgets, vendor contracts, and SLAs for cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate regionally as a liaison between México plants and NA IT HQ.
