Job summary

Baker Hughes in Monterrey, Mexico, is seeking a Manufacturing Experienced Professional for Production Supervision to lead daily production activities and ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery. You will coach shop personnel, drive process discipline, and manage schedule execution in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Strong leadership, Lean/HSE knowledge, and a hands-on approach are essential to maintain production flow and continuous improvement initiatives that reduce waste and improve

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field; 5 years of proven experience considered.
  • Experience leading manufacturing or production teams in an industrial environment.
  • Strong understanding of production processes, workflow management, and schedule execution.
  • Knowledge of Quality Systems, Lean Manufacturing, and HSE practices.
  • Effective leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • English reading and understanding preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate daily production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
  • Execute production schedules and ensure orders are completed on time according to plan.
  • Direct shop personnel to maintain production flow and address daily challenges.
  • Ensure teams follow manufacturing processes, work instructions, and SOPs.
  • Monitor workforce performance, output, and workflow efficiency during the shift.
  • Promote compliance with Quality and HSE requirements.
  • Identify and address production constraints, equipment issues, or material shortages.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and waste reduction.
  • Conduct daily shift communications, staffing, and performance discussions with teams.
  • Develop team capabilities through coaching, training, and performance management.

  • Direct and support shop personnel to maintain production flow and address daily operational challenges.
  • Ensure designated teams follow established manufacturing processes, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor workforce performance, production output, and workflow efficiency throughout the shift.
  • Promote and enforce compliance with all Quality and HSE requirements.
  • Identify and upscale production constraints, equipment issues, material shortages, or process deviations impacting operations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and waste reduction.
  • Conduct daily shift communications, staffing coordination, and performance discussions with production teams.
  • Develop team capabilities through coaching, training, and performance management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field preferred. Also 5 years of proven experience in similar positions with technical background will be considered.
  • Experience leading manufacturing or production teams in an industrial environment.
  • Strong understanding of production processes, workflow management, and schedule execution.
  • Knowledge of Quality Systems, Lean Manufacturing, and HSE practices.
  • Effective leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • English / Reading and understanding preferred.
