Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Manufacturing Experienced Professional - Production Supervision to lead daily production activities at our Monterrey area facility. You will coordinate schedules, direct shop staff, and ensure adherence to quality, safety, and process standards to keep production on track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field.
• 5+ years leading manufacturing teams or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of production processes and schedule execution.
• Familiarity with Quality Systems, Lean Manufacturing, and HSE practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
• Execute production schedules and ensure orders are completed on time.
• Guide shop personnel to maintain production flow and address operational challenges.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturing processes, work instructions, and SOPs.
• Monitor performance, output, and workflow efficiency across shifts.
• Promote quality and HSE compliance and drive improvement initiatives.
• Communicate daily shift updates, staffing, and performance feedback.
• Develop team capabilities through coaching and training.

Job description

Essential Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily production activities to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives.
• Execute production schedules and ensure manufacturing orders are completed on time and according to plan.
• Direct and support shop personnel to maintain production flow and address daily operational challenges.
• Ensure designated teams follow established manufacturing processes, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
• Monitor workforce performance, production output, and workflow efficiency throughout the shift.
• Promote and enforce compliance with all Quality and HSE requirements.
• Identify and escape production constraints, equipment issues, material shortages, or process deviations impacting operations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and waste reduction.
• Conduct daily shift communications, staffing coordination, and performance discussions with production teams.
• Develop team capabilities through coaching, training, and performance management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field preferred. Also 5 years of proven experience in similar positions with technical background will be considered.
• Experience leading manufacturing or production teams in an industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of production processes, workflow management, and schedule execution.
• Knowledge of Quality Systems, Lean Manufacturing, and HSE practices.
• Effective leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• English / Reading and understanding preferred.
