Job summary

ABB Nema Motors S.A. de C.V. in Tlajomulco de Zuñiga, Jalisco, seeks a Production Engineering Specialist to optimize assembly methods, cycles, and equipment to reduce labor hours while meeting quality, safety, and cost targets.

You will define working phase sequences for new processes, support startup, evaluate new technologies, and train maintenance and production teams. PLC experience (Siemens/Fanuc), CAD skills (AutoCAD/SolidWorks), and English are required; travel is possible. On-site role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 6+ months of professional experience including internship.
• Experience with PLCs (Siemens or Fanuc).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Proficient in English for communication.

Responsibilities

• Identify improvement opportunities and implement projects on time, within quality and cost targets.
• Approve internal/external process designs and conduct final tests.
• Support production during startup, defining action plans and training maintenance resources.
• Evaluate new process technologies and manage testing activities and selection of external providers.

Make it your story.Your Role: Meet the ChallengeIn this role, you will have the opportunity to optimize the production organization’s assembly methods, processes, and equipment to minimize labor hours in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs, and safety. Each day, you will ensure appropriate production methods, cycle time, equipment performance, and materials/components in support of production targets.
