Collins Aerospace in Mexicali, MX is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to improve processes, ensure manufacturability, and maintain process documentation. You will collaborate with design and production teams to support new and existing products, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.

The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing/engineering, experience with transfers, and advanced English. Travel to the United States may be required; visa considerations apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 2+ years in manufacturing/related engineering roles.
• 2+ years with machining, assembly, or soldering; RCA and corrective actions.
• Experience with product transfers and NPI.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Collaborate with design and production teams on manufacturability.
• Create and maintain process documentation and work instructions.
• Troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and safety.
• Support introduction of new products and processes, including equipment selection and validation.
• Monitor production data to identify trends and optimization opportunities.
• Ensure processes comply with policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide training and technical support to production personnel.
• Occasional travel to the United States; visa may be required.
• Maintain proficient communication in English with counterparts in the United States.
