Thermometrics México, S.A. De C.V. is seeking a Lead Manufacturing Engineer to oversee the Manufacturing Engineering team and ensure efficient, stable, and cost-effective production that meets quality and safety standards.

You will develop and optimize processes, coordinate NPI activities, maintain PFMEA and control plans, and drive improvements to reduce scrap, downtime, and costs through cross‑functional collaboration with Quality, Maintenance, Production, and EHS.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• Experience leading technical teams in manufacturing environments (automotive, electronics, etc.).
• 7+ years in manufacturing engineering.
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma familiarity.
• Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written).

Responsabilidades

• Lead and supervise the Manufacturing Engineering team.
• Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Coordinate New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.
• Ensure development and maintenance of work instructions, PFMEA, control plans, and technical documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce scrap, downtime, and costs.
• Monitor and analyze KPIs (OEE, efficiency, productivity, quality).
• Lead layout improvements and line balancing projects.
• Validate tooling, equipment, and fixtures.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Maintenance, Production, and EHS teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and applicable regulations.
• Approve process changes and authorize technical documentation.
• Assign priorities and resources within the engineering team.
• Escalate operational risks to management.
