Job summary

Amphenol CMT - Critical Medical Technologies in Tijuana, Mexico, is seeking a leader to head the technical and operational performance of injection molding manufacturing. • Lead manufacturing/process engineering and production technical support for released products.
• Improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, OEE, labor efficiency, scrap, cycle time, and machine utilization executing cross validation strategies.
• Own operational and product quality through capable, controlled, documented processes, validated parameters, control plans, and specification compliance.
• Lead structured problem-solving using RCA, doe, spc, PFMEA, and capability analysis.
• Reduce recurring defects, downtime, startup scrap, process variation, and production interruptions.
• Develop capacity models and recommend equipment, tooling, automation, staffing, or scheduling actions.

Job description

Lead the technical and operational performance of injection molding manufacturing to deliver safe, stable, capable, and cost-effective production. The role owns sustaining process performance, operational excellence, capacity improvement, technical problem-solving, and organizational capability, partnering with production, quality, tooling, NPD, maintenance, supply chain, and finance.
