Oferta confidencial is seeking a hands-on Tooling Supervisor to lead a skilled machining team in mold manufacturing and maintenance. The role requires expertise in CNC, Wire EDM, Sinker EDM, and conventional machining, plus strong CAD/CAM skills and English communication.

The ideal candidate will balance leadership with technical decision-making, collaborating across Production, Engineering, and Molding to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Formación

• 5+ years in machining, tool room, mold manufacturing, or tooling supervision.
• Experience leading technical teams and managing performance.
• Strong knowledge of injection mold tooling and processes.
• Hands-on with CNC machining, Wire EDM, Sinker EDM, and conventional machining.
• Proficient in CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks/AutoCAD/Pro-E/Mastercam).
• Familiar with GD&T, SPC, Lean, Six Sigma, OEE, and SMED.
• Fluent English communication; technical degree in related fields.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise fabrication, repair, and maintenance of molds and tooling.
• Lead a team of skilled machining technicians and develop talent.
• Coordinate daily priorities to support production needs.
• Oversee CNC, Wire EDM, Sinker EDM, and conventional machining.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Molding to troubleshoot issues.
• Drive root cause analysis to reduce scrap and improve quality.
• Promote tooling optimization and extend tool life.
• Develop SOPs, technical docs, and tooling records.
• Create/modify/optimize CNC programs for mold tooling.
• Foster a safe, organized, results-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the fabrication, repair, and maintenance of molds, dies, and tooling.
• Lead and develop a team of skilled machining technicians.
• Coordinate daily priorities and workload to ensure timely support to production.
• Oversee CNC machining, Wire EDM, Sinker EDM, conventional machining, and precision manufacturing processes.
• Partner with Production, Engineering, and Molding teams to troubleshoot tooling and process-related issues.
• Participate in root cause analysis activities to reduce scrap, improve quality, and increase operational efficiency.
• Drive tooling optimization initiatives to improve mold performance and extend tool life.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, technical documentation, and tooling records.
• Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for mold manufacturing and repair.
• Promote a safe, organized, and results-driven work environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a machining, tool room, mold manufacturing, or tooling supervision role.
• Previous experience leading and managing technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of injection mold tooling and manufacturing processes.
• Hands-on experience with CNC machining, Wire EDM, Sinker EDM, and conventional machining.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Pro-E, Mastercam, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of GD&T, SPC, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, OEE, and SMED methodologies.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Technical degree or Engineering degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in injection molding manufacturing environments.
• U.S. visa and availability for occasional travel.
• Experience supporting root cause investigations involving molds, tooling, and molding processes.
