Job summary

Jabil seeks a quality and efficiency monitoring professional to oversee dedicated manufacturing lines, balancing throughput, minimizing changeover downtime, and monitoring machine data to maximize utilization while reducing scrap and ensuring IPC-610B compliant quality.

You will drive cost reductions by streamlining processes, assist with tooling and fixtures, and coordinate line reconfigurations with support groups, all while maintaining a strong focus on safety and adherence to policy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; and one to two years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Balance and optimize line throughput while minimizing changeover downtime.
• Monitor machine management data to maximize utilization and minimize scrap.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities by streamlining processes and systems.
• Create and maintain wave and reflow soldering profiles.
• Coordinate line reconfigurations and machine move activities with other groups.
• Ensure scheduled machine maintenance is performed on assigned line(s).
