Copeland in Reynosa, Mexico is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer – Assembly to conceptualize, develop, and implement assembly and process improvements, support new product introductions, and optimize manufacturing operations.

The role requires reading 2D/3D drawings, applying Lean and Six Sigma, and collaborating with Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to deliver cost reductions and efficiency gains.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Manufacturing/Mechatronics/Industrial).
• 3+ years in manufacturing, process, or assembly engineering.
• Experience with new product introductions (NPI) and process improvements.
• Ability to read 2D/3D drawings and CAD models.
• Strong English communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Conceptualize, develop, and implement process improvements for operational optimization and cost reduction.
• Support capacity expansion, new product development, and implementation of new manufacturing processes.
• Read and interpret 2D/3D drawings and CAD models.
• Provide innovative mechanical solutions to support equipment design and manufacturing.
• Lead assembly and process improvements with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate with Quality, Automation, and Product Engineering for NPD and launches.
• Develop and maintain documentation, PFMEAs, and process flow diagrams.
• Drive Lean and Six Sigma Projects to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
